Getting it at MSRP
Before release, TCGplayer prices come from pre-order listings, and they usually sit well above retail. On release day, booster bundles, Elite Trainer Boxes and blisters go on sale at mass retailers (Target, Walmart, Best Buy) and on Amazon at MSRP while stock lasts.
Booster boxes are mostly sold through local game stores and online hobby shops rather than big-box stores. Pokémon Center exclusives are only sold on pokemoncenter.com, usually with a per-customer limit.
