The sets that came before it

Delta Reign borrows its name from 2005's Delta Species and its star from the Rayquaza sets of 2015 and 2021. Here's that family, and what its sealed boxes sell for now.

  1. 2005

    EX Delta Species

Where the name comes from: Pokémon printed with a δ symbol and an unusual type, set in the Holon region.

The set's top card, Groudon ★, sells for about $820; the whole set is valued around $6,665.

  2. 2015

    Roaring Skies

Mega Rayquaza-EX's first card. Its attack was called Emerald Break, the same idea as the Japanese set name Storm Emeralda.
